Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
Effective date: 27 July 2026
Blooming Mind values professional time, clarity and fairness. This Policy explains the cancellation, rescheduling, credit and refund conditions that apply to paid Blooming Mind appointments, assessments, personalised reports, review sessions, packages and digital services.
By booking, purchasing or using a Blooming Mind service, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Policy.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to paid Blooming Mind services and products, including:
- Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy sessions
- Counselling and healing sessions
- Couples sessions
- Intake or review sessions
- Blueprint Review Sessions
- Future assessment-review or interpretation sessions
- Psychological Blueprint™ assessments and reports
- Future personalised assessments and reports
- Digital self-discovery products
- Workshops, programmes and packages
- Prepaid sessions
- Any future paid service unless separate written terms expressly state otherwise
Where a purchase page, consent notice, service description or written agreement contains additional service-specific terms, those terms will apply to that service to the extent of the stated difference.
2. General principle
Payments may reserve:
- A specific professional appointment slot
- Preparation and practitioner availability
- Assessment access
- Personalised scoring and interpretation
- Report-generation resources
- Technology, administrative and delivery services
A refund is therefore not automatically available merely because a purchaser changes their mind, does not use the service, disagrees with the outcome or later decides that the purchase was not useful to them.
Except where this Policy expressly provides otherwise, payments become non-refundable once:
- The applicable cancellation deadline has passed
- A booked appointment slot has been consumed
- A participant is recorded as a no-show
- A service has begun
- Personalised report generation has been completed
- A digital product has been delivered or made available
3. Appointment cancellations
A scheduled appointment may be cancelled only by giving Blooming Mind at least 12 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
A cancellation request must be sent through an authorised Blooming Mind communication channel and must be received within the required period.
Where a cancellation is received at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time, Blooming Mind may provide:
- A refund,
- Account credit, or
- An alternative arrangement,
depending on the payment method, service terms and administrative circumstances.
Payment-gateway or transaction charges that are not recoverable by Blooming Mind may be deducted from an approved refund where permitted by law.
A cancellation received less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time is a late cancellation. The appointment fee will be non-refundable and ordinarily will not be converted into credit.
4. Appointment rescheduling
A scheduled appointment may be rescheduled only by giving Blooming Mind at least 6 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
A rescheduling request is not a cancellation request. The payment remains attached to the rescheduled appointment and does not become refundable merely because the appointment has been moved.
Each appointment may ordinarily be rescheduled once.
Further changes may:
- Require a fresh booking and payment,
- Be treated as a cancellation, or
- Be accommodated only at Blooming Mind’s discretion.
Rescheduling is subject to practitioner availability and cannot be guaranteed for a preferred date or time.
5. Late arrival
Clients are responsible for joining or arriving on time.
Where a client arrives late:
- The appointment will ordinarily still end at the originally scheduled time.
- The session fee will not be reduced.
- No partial refund or credit will be provided for the unused portion.
- Blooming Mind may treat a substantially delayed arrival as a no-show where meaningful service delivery is no longer reasonably possible.
6. No-show policy
A no-show occurs when a client:
- Does not attend an appointment,
- Does not join an online session,
- Is unavailable at the scheduled time,
- Joins too late for the service to be meaningfully provided, or
- Fails to communicate within a reasonable period after the scheduled start time.
No refund or credit will ordinarily be provided for a no-show, regardless of the personal reason offered.
Examples include:
- Forgetting the appointment
- Confusing the date or time
- Work or business commitments
- Travel delays
- Family obligations
- Illness or tiredness
- Change of mind
- Failure to check reminders
- Failure to read joining instructions
- Incorrect email address or telephone number supplied by the client
- Device, electricity or internet problems on the client’s side
- Being unable to find a private location for an online session
- Deciding at the last moment not to participate
Blooming Mind may consider a genuine exceptional circumstance at its sole discretion. Such an accommodation does not create a continuing entitlement or precedent.
Nothing in this section excludes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Client-side technical problems
For online sessions, the client is responsible for:
- A working device
- Adequate internet connectivity
- A functioning camera and microphone where required
- Access to the meeting link
- A suitable private environment
- Joining sufficiently early to resolve ordinary technical issues
A refund will not ordinarily be provided where the session is disrupted or cannot proceed because of a client-side device, connection, power, software or access problem.
Where practical, Blooming Mind may attempt an alternative method of communication or rescheduling, but this is not guaranteed.
8. Voluntary early ending or partial use
No partial refund or credit will be provided where a client:
- Ends a session early,
- Declines to continue,
- Does not use the full scheduled time,
- Leaves an online session,
- Chooses not to discuss certain matters,
- Decides during the session that the service is not suitable, or
- Does not follow through with reflection, recommendations or later sessions.
The payment is for the reserved professional time and service availability, not only for the number of minutes actively used.
9. Subjective dissatisfaction with a session
Therapy, counselling, review sessions and reflective services involve professional dialogue and do not guarantee that every client will:
- Agree with everything discussed,
- Feel immediate relief,
- Experience rapid improvement,
- Receive the answer they hoped for,
- Feel comfortable throughout the process,
- Receive a diagnosis or prediction,
- Be advised to take a particular course of action, or
- Experience a guaranteed personal, emotional or relationship outcome.
The following do not, by themselves, create a refund entitlement:
- “The session was not what I expected.”
- “I did not feel better immediately.”
- “I disagreed with the practitioner.”
- “I did not like the questions asked.”
- “I changed my mind about therapy.”
- “I expected advice rather than reflection.”
- “I expected a diagnosis.”
- “I expected a guaranteed solution.”
- “I did not feel emotionally ready.”
- “Someone else advised me not to continue.”
- “I did not connect with the process.”
- “The session raised difficult feelings.”
- “I expected a particular technique or conclusion that was not expressly promised.”
Subjective dissatisfaction is not the same as material non-delivery or deficiency in service.
10. Review sessions
Blueprint Review Sessions and future assessment-review sessions are separately scheduled professional services unless expressly included in the original purchase.
The appointment rules in this Policy apply fully to review sessions, including:
- The 12-hour cancellation deadline
- The 6-hour rescheduling deadline
- No-show conditions
- Late-arrival conditions
- No guaranteed outcome
- No refund based on disagreement with the review or report
A review session does not guarantee that a report will be changed, rescored or rewritten.
11. Assessments and personalised reports
This section applies to:
- The Psychological Blueprint™
- Future Blooming Mind assessments
- Personalised interpretation reports
- Digital profile reports
- Any assessment-based or response-based personalised product
A report purchase includes personalised work based on the participant’s submitted responses.
Once the personalised report has been generated, the purchase is final and non-refundable, except where this Policy expressly provides otherwise.
For this purpose, a report is considered generated when the completed personalised report output or approved report file has been created by Blooming Mind’s system. It is not necessary for the participant to have:
- Opened it,
- Read it,
- Downloaded it,
- Clicked the delivery link,
- Saved it, or
- Acknowledged receipt.
12. Disagreement with report contents
A refund will not be provided merely because a participant:
- Does not like the report
- Does not agree with the report
- Does not identify with part of the interpretation
- Expected different scores
- Expected a different dominant pattern
- Wanted the report to confirm a preferred self-image
- Finds the content uncomfortable or challenging
- Believes the report is insufficiently positive or affirming
- Receives a result that differs from another assessment
- Receives disagreement from a friend, relative or professional
- Changes their mind after completing the assessment
- Changes their perspective after report generation
- Expected a diagnosis
- Expected a prediction
- Expected certainty or clinical validation
- Expected childhood, trauma, attachment or relationship conclusions not supported by their responses
- Expected a particular therapeutic recommendation
- Expected guaranteed transformation or improvement
- Expected therapy or a review session to be included where it was not expressly included
- Finds the report too detailed, too brief or different from their preferred style
- Decides not to act on the report
The Psychological Blueprint™ and other Blooming Mind reports are reflective and self-discovery tools. They do not promise diagnosis, certainty, prediction or guaranteed outcomes.
13. Responsibility for assessment responses
Personalised assessments and reports depend on the responses supplied by the participant.
Blooming Mind is not responsible for an outcome affected by:
- Inaccurate answers
- Intentionally misleading answers
- Random answers
- Rushed completion
- Failure to read questions carefully
- Misunderstood questions
- Inconsistent responses
- Incomplete information
- Responses completed by another person
- Incorrect personal details
- A participant answering according to how they wish to appear rather than how they currently experience themselves
A participant may request correction of an administrative detail, such as a spelling error in their name, where technically feasible.
A participant cannot ordinarily require rescoring, regeneration or a refund merely because they later wish they had answered differently.
14. Failure to complete an assessment
Assessment access may remain valid only for the period stated on the purchase page, activation message or service communication.
Failure to begin or complete an assessment within the applicable period does not automatically create a refund entitlement.
This includes situations where the participant:
- Loses interest
- Becomes busy
- Forgets to complete it
- Does not return to a saved assessment
- Changes their mind
- Does not have sufficient time
- Does not understand the purpose after purchasing
- Fails to use the access link
- Provides incorrect contact information
- Delays until access expires
Blooming Mind may reactivate access at its discretion where technically and operationally possible.
15. Incorrect delivery details
Participants are responsible for providing accurate:
- Name
- Email address
- WhatsApp number
- Contact information
- Delivery preferences
Where delivery fails because a participant supplied incorrect information, this will not ordinarily create a refund right.
Blooming Mind may attempt correction and redelivery after verifying the purchaser’s identity.
16. Minor errors and presentation issues
A minor error that does not materially affect the substance of a service or report does not ordinarily justify a full refund.
Examples include:
- Typographical errors
- Minor spelling errors
- Minor formatting issues
- Small alignment problems
- Pagination issues
- A non-material display inconsistency
- A broken link that can be replaced
- A delivery problem that can be corrected by redelivery
Blooming Mind may correct, replace or regenerate the affected material where appropriate.
17. Blooming Mind’s right to repair or redeliver
Where a report, digital product or delivery contains a verified technical or material defect, Blooming Mind must first be given a reasonable opportunity to:
- Investigate,
- Correct,
- Repair,
- Regenerate,
- Replace, or
- Redeliver the service or product.
A refund will ordinarily be considered only where Blooming Mind cannot provide the purchased service or a materially equivalent corrected replacement within a reasonable period.
18. Duplicate payments
A verified duplicate payment for the same purchase may be refunded after investigation.
Blooming Mind may request:
- Transaction references
- Bank or payment-provider records
- Date and amount
- Purchaser details
- Supporting screenshots
A payment is not considered duplicate merely because the purchaser made more than one separate booking or purchase.
19. Wrong service or accidental purchase
A purchaser who believes they selected the wrong service should contact Blooming Mind immediately.
Before appointment preparation or report generation begins, Blooming Mind may, at its discretion:
- Transfer the payment to another service,
- Provide credit, or
- Approve a refund.
Once the service has begun, the appointment deadline has passed or a personalised report has been generated, the purchase becomes subject to the ordinary non-refundable conditions in this Policy.
Failure to read a service description before purchasing does not automatically create a refund entitlement.
20. Packages and prepaid sessions
Where a client purchases a package or multiple-session arrangement:
- Completed sessions are non-refundable.
- No-show sessions may be treated as used.
- Late-cancelled sessions may be treated as used.
- Sessions not used before the stated expiry date may lapse.
- Unused sessions are not automatically refundable.
- Packages are ordinarily personal and non-transferable.
- Package pricing may be based on a commitment to the full package.
Where Blooming Mind approves early discontinuation and a partial refund, it may recalculate completed sessions at the applicable individual-session rate rather than the discounted package rate.
Any non-recoverable payment-processing charges may also be deducted where legally permitted.
Specific package terms communicated at purchase will apply in addition to this Policy.
21. Workshops, programmes and future digital services
For workshops, programmes, courses or future digital products:
- Service-specific cancellation and access terms may be stated on the purchase page.
- Failure to attend, access or complete the programme does not automatically create a refund right.
- Digital content already accessed or delivered may be non-refundable.
- Personal scheduling conflicts do not ordinarily create a refund right.
- A participant’s dissatisfaction with teaching style, content emphasis or expected outcome does not by itself establish material non-delivery.
Where no separate terms are stated, the general principles of this Policy apply.
22. Promotional offers and discounted services
Promotional, discounted or specially priced services may be:
- Non-refundable,
- Non-transferable,
- Valid only for a specified period, and
- Subject to additional purchase conditions.
Any such conditions will be stated at the time of purchase.
A later price reduction or promotional offer does not entitle an earlier purchaser to a refund of the difference.
23. Gift purchases and transfers
Gift purchases, transferred bookings or services purchased for another person remain subject to this Policy.
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the intended participant:
- Understands the nature of the service,
- Is willing to participate, and
- Meets any eligibility conditions.
A refund is not automatically available merely because the intended participant declines the gift or refuses to participate.
Transfers may be allowed only with Blooming Mind’s written approval.
24. Blooming Mind cancellation or inability to provide service
Where Blooming Mind cancels an appointment, Blooming Mind will ordinarily offer:
- Rescheduling,
- Credit, or
- Refund of the affected appointment fee.
Where Blooming Mind is permanently unable to generate or deliver a purchased report, Blooming Mind will first attempt correction, regeneration or alternative delivery.
Where meaningful delivery remains impossible, the affected purchase may be refunded.
A refund will not ordinarily be available where service delivery is temporarily delayed by circumstances outside Blooming Mind’s reasonable control and a reasonable alternative is offered.
25. Events outside reasonable control
Blooming Mind will not be responsible for delay caused by events reasonably outside its control, including:
- Major internet or cloud-service outages
- Payment-provider outages
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Transport disruption
- Civil emergency
- Widespread power failure
- Serious illness or emergency
- Cybersecurity incidents
- Third-party infrastructure failure
Blooming Mind will take reasonable steps to reschedule, restore, correct or deliver the affected service.
26. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback, the purchaser should contact Blooming Mind and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern.
Blooming Mind may contest a chargeback that appears:
- Duplicate,
- Fraudulent,
- Misleading,
- Inconsistent with the booking record,
- Inconsistent with documented delivery,
- Made after a service was consumed, or
- Made after a personalised report was generated and delivered.
Blooming Mind may provide relevant transaction, consent, appointment, generation, delivery and communication records to the payment provider or competent authority.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using a lawful grievance or dispute-resolution mechanism.
27. Refund method and processing time
An approved refund will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Processing time may depend on:
- The payment gateway,
- The client’s bank,
- The card network, or
- The payment provider.
Blooming Mind is not responsible for processing delays occurring after the refund has been released to the relevant payment provider.
28. No cash equivalent for credits
Where Blooming Mind provides account credit, service credit or rescheduling as an accommodation, that credit:
- Is not automatically exchangeable for cash,
- May have an expiry date,
- May be limited to the original purchaser, and
- May be subject to stated service conditions.
29. Exceptional accommodations
Blooming Mind may make a compassionate or discretionary exception in a particular case.
An exception:
- Does not amend this Policy,
- Does not create a legal entitlement,
- Does not establish a precedent, and
- Does not require Blooming Mind to make the same exception in another case.
30. Complaints and refund requests
A cancellation, rescheduling or refund request should include:
- Purchaser’s full name
- Registered email or WhatsApp number
- Service purchased
- Appointment or purchase date
- Transaction reference
- Clear reason for the request
- Relevant supporting information
Requests should be sent to:
Email: connect@bloomingmind.in
WhatsApp: +91 91756 71123
Do not send unnecessary sensitive psychological or medical information when making an administrative request.
31. Consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 allows unfair contractual terms and deficient services to be challenged. This Policy is intended to distinguish subjective dissatisfaction, change of mind, non-attendance and completed personalised work from genuine material non-delivery or service deficiency.
A consumer may also approach the National Consumer Helpline, which is a Government of India pre-litigation grievance mechanism, through its portal or official channels.
32. Changes to this Policy
Blooming Mind may update this Policy when services, technology, commercial arrangements or legal requirements change.
The revised version will be published with an updated effective date.
The policy applicable to a purchase will ordinarily be the version presented or made available at the time of that purchase, subject to any later change required by law.
